Items on Webkinz.com not always available
Ganz USA LLC posts new and old items on their website, even though retailers are unable to order them. Simply because you see items on the http://www.webkinz.com/ website, does NOT mean that retailers have those items in stock, or have the ability to order them. Retired animals, newly released animals, and charms are some examples. Also, we are required to place orders to ship one full month in advance. When you notice a NEW item on the Webkinz.com website, we expect at least 30-45 days before it might be delivered to our store.

Due to the extremely HIGH demand of Webkinz products, and the very limited supply and long reorder times, we reserve the right to place quantity limits on selected items. This allows more of our customers an opportunity to own some of the more popular items. We're sorry for this inconvenience. We are doing everything possible to maintain in-stock items, but some of the toys are extremely popular, backordered, and take a long time to get back in.

Although we make every effort to ensure the in-stock item information is correct, there is the possibility of items selling out between web site updates, unintentional mistakes, etc. We do NOT GUARANTEE the accuracy of the information on this page or availability of any Webkinz products. If you plan on making a special trip to KabOOdles to pick up a Webkinz item, please call before you leave to verify the stock of your item of interest.

We will not hold item(s) for customers to pick-up and pay at their leisure. We have had numerous problems of customers failing to pay/pick-up items they requested us to hold, therefore our current POLICY is not to hold items. However, we will allow customers to Pre-PAY via TELEPHONE using Visa/Mastercard; we will then have the items ready for pick-up behind the counter. Sorry, we do not LAYAWAY either.
Safety bulletin, 28 Dec 2008 - The following message was posted on the Ganz/Webkinz retailer website regarding toy safety:
Ganz takes great care to ensure its products comply with all Federal regulatory safety standards. Should a question arise concerning the safety of a Ganz product, Ganz will take the appropriate measures to investigate the matter and act in accordance with the appropriate safety regulations.
With all the talk about toy safety, are the Webkinz toys safe?
Webkinz plush pets have passed all appropriate Federal testing under ASTM F963, which is the standard consumer safety specification on toy safety. Testing includes, but is not limited to, flammability testing, surface lead testing, and testing for small parts and sharp edges.

All Webkinz charms have been tested and have passed the standards for lead content in children's jewelry proposed by the Consumer Products Safety Commission before shipping to customers.
